Advocating for Referral Systems at the Australian Public Health Conference

Date: September 2021

Location: hosted in Australia

At the 2021 Australian Public Health Conference, I presented a paper titled “Referral System Challenges in Rural Ghana: Implications for Maternal Healthcare Delivery”. The session prompted rich dialogue about the intersection of infrastructure, policy, and frontline care in LMICs (Low and Middle-Income Countries). This conference reaffirmed my belief in collaborative approaches to solving global health challenges. I also appreciated how virtual platforms continue to bridge international academic communities.
