In June 2023, I had the privilege of presenting at the International Confederation of Midwives Congress in Bali, Indonesia. My presentation, titled “Midwifery Workforce and Early Newborn Care in Ghana”, explored data-driven strategies to improve neonatal outcomes. The conference was a phenomenal convergence of global expertise, and I was honored to showcase how research from Ghana is shaping international conversations on maternal and newborn health. It was also a great platform to connect with midwives and policymakers from over 100 countries.
